hello namaste salaamwalekum satsriyakaal; welcome back to another session with your VahChef at Vahrehvah.com. Today I’m going to show you how to make date and apple muffins. You know this is very easy to make and very tasty. So here I’ve got 2 eggs, in this add 75 grams of brown sugar and just mix this nicely. Once the sugar mixes with this, in this add apple crushed or apple puree or apple juice any of this will work but if you’re adding apple juice add just one tablespoon of extra sugar and then mix with this. In this add some cinnamon powder, you know apple and cinnamon goes perfect Now I’ve just cut one apple and just soaked in the water so they don’t discolor. Just add this chopped apple. I’ve also chopped with the skin on so that’s ok Now in this also add chopped dates. Wow! What a mixture! Add one apple and 75 grams of chopped dates and mix nicely and we’re going to keep it on the side . Now we’re going to make a flour mixture and add to this Now take 150 grams of all purpose flour, 150 grams of wheat flour and in this add 1 tablespoon of baking powder And first mix all of this nicely. You know in the hotels what we do? After we mix this we sieve it once again. So that all the baking powder and the flours are nicely mixed But this is ok. Add around 50 grams of butter and just crumble this. You know just how we do the short crust method. By crumbling the muffins will look different and taste also will be very nice Now add this flour mixture into this egg mixture and now just mix it till the consistency is of dropping consistency not the pouring consistency These muffins, you know the amount of egg and whatever we added, this will become like a dropping consistency and we can make the fantastic muffins with this Now look at this mixture, the mixture is not a pouring consistency but the dropping consistency. Some of the moisture from the apples will also come out and now take this mixture and drop into the muffin molds. Ok. Perfect. Look at this mixture. I just divided them into equal portions and you can actually fill them little more but I’m just going to make it little smaller because this is full of apple and cinnamon flavor And I’m going to bake them at 200 degrees centigrade for 15-20 minutes Look at this. These apple muffins, you know I have a sweeter tooth than my wife I suppose. She likes it without icing sugar and I like to sprinkle some on top of these apple muffins because already there is little less amount of sugar what we added. But it’s you’re own choice, if you like it with little extra sugar just sprinkle on top and with every bite it tastes fantastic with this added you know powdered sugar Wow! Look at this. Fantastic and nicely cooked, inside you can still see pieces of apple and make it fresh, eat it fresh, hot and wow! I almost forgot talking about dates, till I took a bite and wow what a nice combination cinnamon, apple, dates. Fantastic.
