It is usually better to sow as early as possible, even January if you’re growing very hot chillies, as they need a long summer to crop well. Sow seeds at 18-21°C (65-70°F) in pots of good seed sowing compost. Start them in early spring in cooler climates or any time during the dry season. … You can plant several chilli seeds per pot. Sow the seeds 1/4 inch deep in a seed starting mix I used potting mix ,composting . Try and keep the medium moist to touch but not wet . Plant the seeds immediately in moist soil . After 20 days I add more potting soil and cow manue During average summer weather conditions they will need watering two to three times a week although this may vary from area to area depending on soil type, wind exposure and rainfall paying particular attention to your watering regime during flowering through to fruit set After 100 days ,The flowers and fruits are beautiful . Select a compost with good drainage to help keep air in the soil and try to avoid the pot standing in water Hot weather and drier soil can increase the heat of chili peppers.
