High Protein Laddu Recipe – No Oil/Ghee/No Sugar -Tasty Black Rice Laddoo | Skinny Recipes

hey guys! I am Nisa Homey and welcome back
to my Channel today I’m sharing a highly nutritious and healthy ladoos which is
made without oil, ghee or refined sugar these ladoos are high in protein, fibre,
iron, potassium, and antioxidants. I created this recipe so that both kids
and adults can enjoy this nutrient-dense ladoos this festive season so let’s get
started. I’m measuring 1 cup of black rice, black rice is an ancient variety of
rice which is rich in antioxidants protein, fibre, and iron. black rice is
also known as the forbidden rice or emperors rice in ancient time this rice
was used only among the Royals. it has the highest protein and fiber of any
species of rice. it is great for skin and hair due to its vitamin E content. whole
grains must be included in your diet if you have health issues like thyroid PCOS
and diabetes. the reason I created this powerhouse and nutrient-dense ladoos
especially for children keeping in mind they may not enjoy
cooked black rice, they will definitely enjoy these tasty ladoos and no one will
ever guess these healthy ladoos are made with black rice and they’re also a
perfect treat for the whole family to enjoy the goodness of black rice. these
ladoos does not contain oil, ghee, or sugar and super healthy
now wash and rinse the rice a couple of times and then keep it on a strainer for
about 10 minutes. after 10 to 15 minutes add the rice to a heavy bottomed
kadai here I’m using a cast-iron kadai once the kadai is heated lightly roast
the rice on medium flame as the rice starts getting heated up and is roasted
it will split open and starts to puff up so you may need to stir it often as the
rice is being roasted once the rice is roasted well transferred to another
plate and allow it to cool down completely. once cooled down transfer the
roasted black rice to a dry grinder and in seeds of
ten cardamom and grind it to a slightly coarse powder into that and in 3/4 cup crushed jaggery
or you can use jaggery powder. grind this really well and once ground this is how
it looks. next add in 1 cup of freshly grated coconut and grind it again. once
ground and in 1/4 cup roasted and salted peanuts or you can use cashew nuts or
any nut of your choice and grind it again
you know the idea is just to coarsely grind the peanuts. transfer the ground
ingredients into a bowl and give it a light mix with your hand
now the moisture from the healthy fats in coconut will help to bind the ladoos
you also don’t need any extra oil even to grease your hand when rolling this
ladoo. the jaggery will help to preserve the ladoos. take small portions and roll
into small reduce roll it tightly to form a ladoo and make ladoos with the
rest of the dough these nutrient-dense ladoos will stay
good for up to a week at room temperature and longer in the fridge the

  12. I prepared this laddu, it's tasty.. However people do not prepare this recipe u till u have the blender or mixer which has 1000 Watts more like nisa homey, I cooked this laddu in my 750 Watts mixie n it's coil got damaged, I had to spend 700 to get the repair..
